Features of the 3M Tempa Dot AX Thermometers: A single-use, disposable clinical thermometer with an adhesive strip to hold itself in place in the underarm area when measuring axillary body temperature. These non-sterile thermometers are individually wrapped. Tempa·DOT AX thermometers are individually wrapped, clean, accurate, convenient, versatile and economical body temperature measuring devices. Clinically accurate axillary body temperature can be obtained in three minutes. These products are especially suited for use with children or other patients who may not be cooperative for oral temperatures. This product is also suited for applications where sterility or infection control issues are not the primary use issues. Tempa·DOT AX thermometers use a dot sensor matrix consisting of temperature-sensitive indicating dots. Each dot changes color from tan to blue at a specific temperature relative to the melting point of the specific chemical mixture in the dot. Body temperature is read from a numerical temperature scale. Tempa·DOT AX thermometers are sensitive to environmental temperature. crackcrackcrackcrack
