3M Tempa Dot Plus Rectal Thermometers, Fahrenheit with Sheath, Non-Sterile
A single-use, disposable clinical thermometer pre-assembled in a sheath for use in measuring rectal body temperature. Available in Fahrenheit or Celsius, each thermometer is non-sterile and bulk packaged. Tempa·DOT PLUS thermometers are unwrapped, clean, accurate, convenient, versatile and economical body temperature measuring devices. Clinically accurate rectal body temperature can be obtained in three minutes. This product is ideal for pediatrics and other applications for thermometry with small children. Tempa·DOT PLUS thermometers are pre-assembled in a plastic sheath to facilitate insertion of the thermometer into the rectum. This product is clean (but not sterile) and packed 100 to a box. These products are suited for use with small children (< age 3). Tempa·DOT PLUS thermometers use a dot sensor matrix consisting of temperature-sensitive indicating dots. Each dot changes color from tan to blue at a specific temperature relative to the melting point of the specific chemical mixture in the dot. Each dot changes color at a temperature of 0.2°F higher than the preceding dot. Body temperature is read from a numerical temperature scale.
