Features of the Oxoid AnaeroGen System: A range of dry gas generating systems designed to safely and speedily create optimum conditions for the growth of a variety of organisms. Create the desired atmospheric conditions without the dangerous accumulation of hydrogen: no water or catalyst needed. Resulting carbon dioxide level will be within 9% to 13%, an important element when performing anaerobic sensitivities. Available in two convenient formats: For use in a jar (2.5 and 3.5L sizes), or for use in a bag (AnaeroGen, CampyGen, and CO2Gen Compact products). Recommended Storage: Store in a cool, dry place between 2° and 25°C (36° to 77°F). AnaeroGen&trade is a quick and convenient system which generates an anaerobic atmosphere without the need for evacuation/replacement or the production of hydrogen, and is activated on contact with air. The AnaeroGen&trade product is simply removed from its protective foil packet and placed into an anaerobic jar immediately prior to sealing, producing a final atmosphere of less than 1% oxygen, supplemented with carbon dioxide.
